How to type Nüshu
Search a pronunciation, initial, or corresponding Chinese character. Select a Nüshu character to insert it. The editor writes from top to bottom, with columns running right to left. You can also type a full pronunciation and tone contour directly, such as ai42.
Shortcuts are case-sensitive. Type a sequence continuously; moving the cursor starts a new sequence. Pasted text and your device’s native input method are preserved.

Does this translate words?
No. This tool enters characters using shortcuts or a character lookup. It does not translate meaning, correct spelling, or predict sentences.
How do I type without conversion?
Choose Plain text. You can switch back to Auto typing at any time. Existing text stays as you wrote it.
Where is my text saved?
Your text remains in this browser. Optional drafts are saved separately for each keyboard on this device. Turn the draft option off to delete that keyboard’s saved draft.
Will every character look the same after copying?
The destination app controls its fonts. Historic characters, combining marks, and private-use signs may need a compatible font. A TXT file preserves characters, not fonts or styling.
